Ramallah: Two Palestinian teenagers were killed in less than an hour in separate incidents in the West Bank. The Ministry of Health announced the death of 18-year-old Muhammad Raslan Mahmoud Asmar from the town of Beit Rima. Asmar succumbed to critical injuries sustained from Israeli gunfire near the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah. Reports indicate that soldiers prevented Palestinian Red Crescent crews from reaching him, leaving him to bleed at the site, and his body was withheld by Israeli forces.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, with Asmar's death, the number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank rose to two, following the earlier killing of 17-year-old Muhand Tariq Muhammad al-Zughair by Israeli fire near the Abu Dajjan area of Hebron. The total number of Palestinians whose bodies are being held by Israeli authorities surged to 761, which includes 74 children, 89 prisoners, and 10 women.
