Beirut: Two Lebanese citizens were killed and others wounded on Saturday morning in renewed Israeli airstrikes targeting several areas in southern Lebanon. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, two people were killed when an Israeli drone targeted a motorcycle on the Qadmus road north of Tyre. In a separate incident, 10 citizens were wounded in a strike targeting the town of Ma'raka in the Tyre district, according to the Ministry of Public Health's Emergency Operations Center. Since dawn, Israeli warplanes have carried out a series of airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, targeting the neighborhoods of Madi, Jammous, Al-Amana Station, Hawta al-Ghadir, and Saint Therese, in addition to strikes on the Western Bekaa Valley. Additional airstrikes struck an inhabited house in the towns of Tibnin and Burj al-Shamali, while villages in the Tyre district experienced intense overnight bombardment.
