Two Children Suffocate by Tear Gas During Israeli Military Raids Near Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Two children, aged 2 and 4, suffocated due to tear gas fired by Israeli forces during a military raid on Thursday night in the town of Al-Khader and the Dheisheh refugee camp, located south of Bethlehem.

According to Palestine news and Information Agency, Israeli occupation forces entered Al-Khader and were seen in the Abu A'mous neighborhood near Solomon's Pools. There were no reports of home raids or detentions during this incursion.

The forces also raided the Dheisheh camp, where they fired tear gas canisters at Palestinian citizens who were shopping for Eid al-Adha along the main Jerusalem-Hebron road. This resulted in confrontations between Palestinian citizens and Israeli forces, where tear gas and sound bombs were used by the forces, leading to the suffocation of the two young children.
