Ankara: The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned on Monday the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and colonists. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Turkish Ministry also condemned in a press statement the raising of the Israeli flag at the mosque compound by a member of the Knesset, and the deliberate provocations carried out by settlers during a march in occupied Jerusalem. The ministry added that these actions reflect Israel's ongoing policies of genocide and forced displacement against the Palestinian people, and its attempts to alter the historical and demographic character of the occupied Palestinian territories and annex them.
