Ramallah:Ankara The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed strong condemnation over the recent raid on Al-Aqsa Mosque by extremist colonists, which occurred under significant protection from Israeli occupation forces.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, the ministry's statement criticized the actions of the Netanyahu government, accusing it of seeking to escalate tensions in the region. The statement highlighted concerns that such actions could undermine efforts to achieve peace and stability, particularly through provocations targeting Muslim holy sites.
The Turkish ministry also reiterated its call for the international community to implement deterrent measures against Israeli practices that are seen as violating the historical and legal status quo at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
