Salfit:Three olive harvesters were injured on Monday evening following an attack by Israeli colonists in the al-Minqa' area, west of Farkha, southwest of Salfit.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, local sources reported that after the harvesters finished picking olives, colonists pursued their vehicle and pelted it with stones. This caused the vehicle to overturn, resulting in injuries to the three farmers inside, including a woman.
The injured individuals were transported to a hospital in Salfit for treatment. Incidents of violence by colonists against Palestinians and their property are reported to be common in the West Bank, with such acts seldom facing prosecution by Israeli authorities.
These violent incidents often involve property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes. Currently, around 1 million Israeli colonists reside in colonies across the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which is considered a violation of international law.
