Moscow - Ma'an - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas received the Arab ambassadors accredited to Russia at his residence in the Russian capital, Moscow, on Monday. The President briefed the Arab ambassadors on the developments of the Palestinian issue and the difficult conditions in Palestine in light of the continued Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the escalation of settlements and the attacks of the occupation forces and terrorist settlers against our people in the West Bank, including Jerusalem. The President reviewed the efforts made at all levels to stop the Israeli aggression, end the war of extermination, and bring aid into the Gaza Strip immediately. Mr. President stressed the importance of mobilizing efforts to support the State of Palestine's endeavor to obtain full membership in the United Nations, as well as obtaining more international recognition for the State of Palestine.
