Nablus: Special Israeli forces on Thursday evening opened fire at a vehicle in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to eyewitnesses.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, special Israeli forces infiltrated the al-Basatin neighborhood using two vehicles with Palestinian license plates and targeted a taxi with gunfire.
At this time, there are no updates regarding the condition or location of the vehicle's occupants.
The occupation forces regularly raid Palestinian homes across the West Bank, claiming to search for 'wanted' Palestinians, which often leads to confrontations with local residents.
These raids are carried out without search warrants, at any time and place the military decides, reflecting its extensive powers.
Under Israeli military law, army commanders possess full control over executive, legislative, and judicial matters affecting the 3 million Palestinians residing in the West Bank, with Palestinians having no influence over this governance.
