Ljubljana: The Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the newly appointed Israeli ambassador to Ljubljana, Ruth Cohen-Dar, on Thursday to formally protest the worsening humanitarian disaster in Gaza caused by severe restrictions on the entry of urgent humanitarian aid. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the ministry posted a statement on its official account on the X platform, emphasizing its diplomatic action by summoning the accredited Israeli ambassador. The protest was directed at the grave humanitarian catastrophe resulting from the blockade of humanitarian aid to Gaza. The Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Israel to immediately end the killing and starvation of civilians. It underscored the growing international concern over the impact of the ongoing blockade and aggression on the civilian population in the besieged enclave.
