Slovakia Condemns Israeli Minister Ben-Gvir’s Remarks on Targeted Killing of Palestinians

Gaza: The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic condemned statements by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir calling for the targeted killing of Palestinians.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Slovak Ministry stated that Slovakia rejects such rhetoric, particularly when it comes from a senior government official, stressing that it contradicts the fundamental principles of international law and human dignity.

The ministry highlighted that such statements are unacceptable and do not contribute to de-escalation in the Middle East, but rather undermine international efforts to achieve peace, including the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803, which supports the Gaza peace plan.

The Slovak Republic, alongside a number of international partners, reaffirmed that the two-state solution is the only viable long-term path to achieving peace and stability in the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
