Gaza: Medical sources in Gaza warned of a worsening shortage of laboratory testing materials in medical labs and blood banks, with the deficit reaching 86% of required supplies, while stocks of many items have been completely depleted.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local health authorities reported that blood gas testing materials have entirely run out at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital laboratory, while remaining supplies in other hospitals are only sufficient for a few more days.
They cautioned that the continued shortage threatens the monitoring of medical conditions, disrupts surgical procedures, and directly impacts emergency and intensive care cases.
