Rafah: The Palestine Red Crescent Society announced on Sunday that several of its paramedics were injured by Israeli gunfire while being surrounded by Israeli forces in Rafah, southern Gaza. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the society confirmed in a brief statement that Israeli forces surrounded several of its ambulances while they were responding to an attack in the Al-Hashaheen area of Rafah. The statement noted that several medics were injured during the assault and communication with the team has been lost. The paramedics remain surrounded and out of contact, with no further updates provided as of several hours ago.
