Northern jordan valley: Israeli settlers today fenced off land in the northern Jordan Valley, according to local sources. Mahlah village council head Mahdi Daraghmeh reported that settlers arrived with fencing equipment and began enclosing hundreds of dunams of land in Hammamat al-Malih. He noted that the land in question belongs to the Latin Patriarchate.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, over the past three years, settlers have seized tens of thousands of dunams of agricultural and grazing land in the northern Jordan Valley. This has been accomplished by fencing the areas off and subsequently preventing Palestinian citizens from accessing them.
