Saudi Arabia, Trkiye, and Pakistan Forge Mecca Joint Defense Agreement

Gaza: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have signed a joint defense pact.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the agreement, named the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement, underscores the shared commitment of the three nations to enhance their collective security and promote regional and global peace and stability.

The Saudi Press Agency reported that the pact aims to strengthen collective deterrence against any act of aggression, outlining that an armed attack on one member state will be considered an attack on all three. The agreement also seeks to enhance all aspects of defense cooperation among Saudi Arabia, Trkiye, and Pakistan.
