Saudi Arabia Condemns Israel’s Actions at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Jerusalem: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemned on Friday the Israeli occupation authorities' 'provocative practices' at Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the Saudi Foreign Ministry stated that the Kingdom denounced 'repeated provocative practices carried out by officials of the Israeli occupation authorities against' the mosque. The ministry highlighted a recent incident involving the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by an official from the Israeli occupation authorities, under the protection of occupation police. Another official was reported to have raised the flag of the occupation authorities within the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Saudi ministry emphasized the Kingdom's categorical rejection of all actions undermining the historical and legal status of Al-Quds and its holy sites. The statement, which was shared on social media platform X, called on the international community to put an end to such practices that violate international laws and norms. It urged holding the Israeli occupation authorities accountable for their ongoing violations against Islamic holy sites and civilians in the State of Palestine.
