Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed its condemnation of the Israeli occupation authorities' approval of the construction of 19 colonial settlements in the occupied West Bank, in violation of relevant UN resolutions.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement reiterating the Kingdom's call on the international community to assume its responsibility to end these violations. The statement emphasized the need for concerted efforts to address the ongoing settlement expansion, which contravenes international law and UN mandates.
The Kingdom also affirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian people and its continued efforts to establish the independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. This stance is aligned with the Arab Peace Initiative and relevant international resolutions, underscoring Saudi Arabia's commitment to a peaceful and just resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
