Moscow: Russia's Foreign Ministry on Friday renewed its call for an immediate halt to Israel's assault on the Gaza Strip and for urgent humanitarian aid to be allowed into the besieged enclave. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the ministry warned that the Israeli attack on Gaza will have consequences for the security of the Middle East region, urging Israel to stop aggressive actions that fuel a cycle of violence. It added that Moscow is calling on Israel to abandon reckless aggressive measures that further escalate tensions and undermine ongoing mediation efforts led by Qatar to bring an end to the war in Gaza.
