Doha: The State of Qatar has issued a stern warning against Israel's attempts to leverage the regional escalation to establish a new reality in Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon. This caution comes amid heightened tensions and conflict in the region.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majid Al-Ansari highlighted these concerns during a press conference. Al-Ansari articulated the need to halt the Israeli escalation in Gaza and the West Bank. He emphasized that Israel must not exploit ongoing regional developments to impose changes in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria.
Al-Ansari further noted that discussions are actively continuing with Qatar's partners to seek de-escalation, aiming for a peaceful resolution and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. He reiterated Qatar's steadfast position against Israel's ongoing violations, particularly in the context of the conflict in the Gaza Strip, and called for accountability for Israel's actions and their consequences.
