Accra:Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas extended his best wishes to Pope Leo XIV, who recently underwent surgery, hoping for a full and speedy recovery.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, President Abbas conveyed his sentiments on behalf of himself and the Palestinian people, expressing hopes for the success of the Pope's operation. He prayed for the Pope's good health and swift recuperation.
Additionally, President Abbas expressed his desire for Pope Leo XIV to continue his significant humanitarian and spiritual mission. He highlighted the Pope's role in promoting peace, justice, truth, and brotherhood among global communities, fostering dialogue, understanding, and coexistence among nations and peoples.
