President Abbas Receives Credentials of New Egyptian Ambassador to Palestine

Ramallah: President Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday received the credentials of Ambassador Bassem Abdel Hadi as the head of the Representative Office of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the State of Palestine. The ceremony marked a significant diplomatic engagement between the two nations.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the ceremony was attended by several key officials, including Presidential adviser for diplomatic affairs Majdi al-Khaldi, Presidential adviser for international relations Riad al-Maliki, and Presidential Guard Commander Maj. Gen. Mohammad Daajaneh. The Egyptian ambassador was honored with a review of the guard of honor assembled to greet him.

President Abbas extended a warm welcome to Ambassador Abdel Hadi, wishing him success in his new role. He expressed hope that the ambassador's tenure would lead to strengthened relations and enhanced cooperation between Palestine and Egypt, highlighting the importance of their fraternal ties.
