Ramallah: President Mahmoud Abbas affirmed that the peace summit, co-sponsored by the United States and Egypt, is an important step in advancing the Palestinian cause.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, President Abbas highlighted that the summit primarily addressed the initial issues, including the ceasefire, prisoners, humanitarian aid, and Israeli withdrawal.
In an interview with Russia's Sputnik channel, Abbas stated, "We want to complete this process with two important matters, the first is working to rebuild Gaza, which is important and requires international and Arab efforts. The second is peace - building peace afterward through an international conference held for this purpose."
