Ramallah:President Mahmoud Abbas met with Michel Rentenaar, head of the Netherlands' Representative Office to the State of Palestine, at the presidential headquarters as Rentenaar's tenure in Palestine comes to an end.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency - WAFA - English, President Abbas awarded Rentenaar the Order of the Jerusalem Star, acknowledging his efforts to enhance Palestinian-Dutch relations and his support for the Palestinian people's pursuit of freedom and independence.
President Abbas commended Rentenaar for his significant contributions during his service and wished him success in his future endeavors.
Rentenaar expressed gratitude to President Abbas for the honor, highlighting his pride in the strong relationship between the Netherlands and Palestine, as well as the mutual respect between their peoples.
