Ramallah: President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas received Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah. The meeting began with a formal ceremony that included a review of the honor guard and the playing of the national anthems of both Palestine and Greece.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the two leaders held a bilateral meeting to discuss the latest developments within the Palestinian Territory, alongside regional and international matters of mutual interest. The discussions focused on enhancing the ties of friendship and cooperation between Palestine and Greece, aiming to benefit both nations.
In addition to the diplomatic discussions, President Abbas hosted a luncheon in honor of Prime Minister Mitsotakis, attended by senior officials from both Palestinian and Greek delegations. Notable attendees included Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa, PLO Executive Committee member Ziad Abu Amro, and several key advisors and spokespersons from the Palestinian presidential team.
