Cairo: President Mahmoud Abbas arrived today in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to participate in the grand opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, scheduled for tomorrow.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, President Abbas was received at Cairo International Airport by Egypt’s Minister of Public Business Sector, Mohamed Shimi, and the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Diab Al-Louh.
The President is accompanied by Ziad Abu Amr, a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Diplomatic Advisor to the President Majdi Al-Khalidi, and Ambassador in Cairo Diab Al-Louh.
