Presidency Holds U.S. Administration Responsible for Recent Massacres in Gaza.

Ramallah: Nabil Abu Rudeineh, the official spokesperson for President Mahmoud Abbas, has held the U.S. administration fully responsible for the ongoing bloodshed in Gaza, the latest of which was the horrific Israeli massacre this morning in the town of Beit Lahiya.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Abu Rudeineh stated that the Israeli occupation forces are interpreting continuous U.S. support as approval for genocidal massacres, resulting in mass killings, including the lives of dozens of children and women, as witnessed in Beit Lahiya and other cities in Gaza. He also condemned Israeli assaults on the West Bank, which include attacks on villages, cities, and refugee camps, alongside ongoing assaults by settlers.

Abu Rudeineh emphasized that the U.S. administration bears full responsibility for the continuation of this bloody aggression due to its provision of political cover to the Israeli occupation authorities. This support, he argued, allows them to evade accountability and defy
international legal resolutions, including a recent UN General Assembly resolution regarding the implementation of the Hague Court’s ruling to halt aggression and end the Israeli occupation.

The presidential spokesperson called on the U.S. to pressure Israel into ceasing its attacks and halting what he termed as genocide against the Palestinian people. He urged for the full implementation of international law, specifically citing Resolution 2735, which advocates for an immediate ceasefire and the unrestricted delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Abu Rudeineh warned of escalating violence and instability if the U.S. fails to intervene, suggesting that the entire region could be engulfed in turmoil, compromising peace and stability for all.
