Presidency Condemns Israeli Colonists’ Attack on Hawara Town in Nablus.

Nablus: The Palestinian Presidency has issued a strong condemnation of the recent attacks by Israeli colonists on the town of Hawara in Nablus. This incident is part of a broader pattern of aggression against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem. The Presidency highlighted the alarming frequency of these attacks, particularly noting the continuation of daily incidents in Gaza, with a focus on the northern part of the Strip.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, the official spokesperson for the Presidency, pointed out that these acts of terrorism by colonists are carried out with the backing and protection of the Israeli occupation forces. He emphasized that these attacks, which have numbered about 30 in less than a month in the Nablus governorate alone, are exacerbated by the full support provided by the American administration to the occupation authorities.

Abu Rudeineh stressed the necessity for a decisive international response to
these acts of Israeli terrorism. He underscored the international community’s inability to enforce international law, attributing this failure to American support for the occupation. He called for the implementation of international legitimacy resolutions, particularly UN Security Council Resolution No. 2735, as a means to address the ongoing conflict.

Furthermore, the spokesperson urged for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the facilitation of aid throughout the region, and the withdrawal of Israeli forces. He also advocated for enabling the State of Palestine to take full responsibility in the Gaza Strip and the implementation of the UN General Assembly resolution concerning the advisory opinion of the Hague Court on ending occupation and colonialism.
