Gaza Strip: A pregnant woman and two other Palestinians were killed Wednesday evening in Israeli bombing on Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and Khan Younes in the southern Strip. According to local sources, the Israeli bombardment targeted the Tal al-Zaatar area in Beit Lahia, resulting in the death of a three-month pregnant woman and injuries to five other civilians.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, an Israeli military drone targeted a gathering of civilians in the al-Qarara town, northeast of Khan Younes, killing two individuals and injuring three others. This incident is part of a larger conflict, with Israel waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7. The ongoing aggression has resulted in the deaths of at least 44,282 Palestinians and injuries to 104,880 others.
Furthermore, at least 10,000 people remain unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip. Palestinian and international organizations report that the majority of those
killed and wounded are women and children. The Israeli aggression has also led to the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from across the Gaza Strip. The majority of the displaced have been forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt, marking Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
