Ramallah: A report by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) showed an increase in the Trade Balance Deficit for Registered Goods by 9% in July 2025 compared to July 2024.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, exports increased by 15% in July 2025 compared to the same month in 2024, reaching USD 157.9 million. Notably, exports to Israel saw an 18% rise and accounted for 94% of total exports in July 2025. Conversely, exports to other countries experienced a decline of 16% during the same period.
Imports also showed an upward trend, increasing by 10% in July 2025 compared to July 2024, totaling USD 684.1 million. Imports from Israel rose by 10%, representing 56% of total imports for the month. Imports from other countries increased by 11% compared to the previous year.
The trade balance, which reflects the difference between exports and imports, indicated a 9% increase in the trade deficit, reaching USD 526.2 million in July 2025 compared to July 2024.
