Ramallah: Several Palestinians suffocated from tear gas fired by Israeli forces on Friday night during a military raid on the village of Al Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, according to local sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, an Israeli army force stormed the village and fired tear gas canisters heavily toward homes in the eastern part of the village. The sudden attack resulted in multiple instances of suffocation among the villagers, highlighting the ongoing tensions in the region.
The occupation forces further obstructed road construction at the village's primary western entrance. Reports indicate that the forces intentionally drove their vehicles over the site as the village council and residents attempted to carry out street paving work. This obstruction of infrastructure development adds to the series of challenges faced by the residents of Al Mughayyir, as they continue to navigate the complexities of life under occupation.
