Palestinians Cultivate Land Amid Colonists’ Seizure Attempts

Al-farsiya: Palestinian families successfully cultivated dozens of dunams of land in the northern Jordan Valley on Sunday, following attempts by colonists to seize the area.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Mahdi Daraghmeh, the head of the al-Maleh village council, stated that residents managed to cultivate approximately 200 dunams of land in al-Farsiya. This effort came after colonists had plowed the land a month earlier with the intention of taking control of it.

Daraghmeh highlighted the significance of this cultivation effort as a means of asserting ownership and resisting colonist attempts to appropriate the land. The act of cultivating the land was seen as a demonstration of resilience and determination by the Palestinian families in the face of ongoing challenges in the region.
