Tulkarm:A Palestinian youth was injured by live-fire shrapnel to the head during an Israeli military raid on the city of Tulkarm on Thursday evening.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the incident occurred when a large Israeli military force stormed the area around Jamal Abdel Nasser Square in central Tulkarm. The forces briefly detained several young men, questioned them, and took them away with their hands tied.
Israeli troops were heavily deployed across the city's eastern and western neighborhoods, pursuing Palestinians and using stun grenades and tear gas. A surveillance drone was also observed flying over the city.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews treated the injured youth, who was in stable condition.
