Qabalan: A Palestinian youth was injured by Israeli forces' gunfire, while several others, including schoolchildren, suffered suffocation from tear gas on Monday during an Israeli raid on the town of Qabalan, south of Nablus, according to local sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli occupation forces prevented Red Crescent ambulance crews from reaching the injured Palestinian in the town after shooting him with live ammunition. The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) stated that its crews received reports of a Palestinian wounded by live ammunition fired by Israeli forces, who subsequently barred paramedics from accessing the scene within the town.
PRCS added that Israeli forces detained an ambulance and one of the paramedics inside it. Local sources reported that Israeli forces besieged a residence within the town and cordoned off the surrounding area, trapping several residents inside nearby homes and the municipal building.
Meanwhile, security sources reported that Israeli armored vehicles raided the town, deploying tear gas and stun grenades in the streets and near local schools, leaving several residents suffering from tear gas inhalation.
