Palestinian Woman and Child Critically Injured in Israeli Drone Strike in Southern Gaza

Gaza city: A Palestinian woman and her child were critically injured Wednesday morning in an Israeli airstrike in southern Gaza. WAFA correspondent reported that an Israeli drone targeted the woman and her child near the Shireen Abu Aqla roundabout in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, resulting in severe injuries to both.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, as of last Monday, the death toll since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 11 had reached 266, with 635 wounded. The total number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip since the onset of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, has increased to 69,483, with the majority being children and women.

Additionally, the number of wounded has escalated to 170,706. Thousands of victims remain trapped under debris due to the inability of rescue teams to reach them, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region.
