Bethlehem: A Palestinian man was injured by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire on Saturday evening east of Bethlehem, according to Palestinian security sources.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency - WAFA, the incident occurred when Israeli forces opened fire at a worker in the Wadi al-Hummus area, near the neighborhood of Sur Baher, south of occupied Jerusalem. The man sustained injuries to his lower limbs and was subsequently transferred to a hospital for treatment.
The injured individual is identified as a resident of the town of Yatta, located south of Hebron. The circumstances surrounding the incident were not detailed further by the sources.
