Ramallah: The Ministry of Religious Endowments and Affairs condemned the arson attacks by colonists on two mosques in the towns of Jaljulia and Mazra'a al-Nubani, north of Ramallah.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Ministry stated that the attacks violate international laws and conventions that ensure the protection of holy sites. It pointed out that these incidents represent an escalation and provoke the feelings of the Palestinian people, fitting into a broader policy of targeting Islamic and Christian holy sites.
The Ministry held Israeli authorities fully responsible for the attacks and their consequences, noting that these incidents occur within a pattern of ongoing violations against religious and cultural heritage sites. It urged the international community and human rights organizations to intervene urgently to halt these violations, provide protection for places of worship, and hold the perpetrators accountable.
The Ministry further emphasized the commitment of Palestinians to protect their holy sites, asserting that such attacks will not undermine their resilience or steadfastness.
