Palestinian Injured by Israeli Forces’ Gunfire in Beit Ummar

Gaza: A Palestinian man was injured by Israeli forces' gunfire on Wednesday during an Israeli military raid on the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, said a local activist.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, media activist Mohammad Awad reported that Israeli special forces, disguised in civilian clothing, infiltrated the Al-Baqa'a area of Beit Ummar. The forces opened live fire at 55-year-old Walid Hani Ikhleel as he was leaving his home, injuring him in the abdomen and foot. Ikhleel was subsequently transferred to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Additionally, the Israeli special forces surrounded a house in the area and detained 25-year-old Mohammad Nabil Mohammad Ikhleel from inside the house.
