Palestinian Government Urges Immediate International Intervention in West Bank Crisis

Ramallah:The Palestinian Government has issued a warning regarding the increasing Israeli military actions in the West Bank, particularly in the Hebron Governorate. These actions include forced displacements, demolition of homes, and the imposition of sieges on Palestinian cities, which the government claims are part of a systematic policy by the Israeli occupation across the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, the situation in the northern West Bank is dire, with cities and refugee camps experiencing significant forced displacement and destruction. Since the start of 2025, over 40,000 individuals have been displaced from their homes, with the trend continuing.

The Palestinian Government has labeled the escalation as an aggressive act against the Palestinian people, their land, and their resources. It holds the Israeli occupation government accountable for the escalation and calls for urgent international intervention to halt further actions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

The government emphasizes that the ongoing escalation in all governorates will not lead to security or peace but will instead exacerbate tensions. It asserts that the Palestinian people will remain resilient in their struggle for their land, holy sites, and historical rights.

Furthermore, the government is actively monitoring the situation in Hebron and the broader Palestinian territories. Efforts are being made to mobilize resources to assess and address citizens' needs, alleviate their suffering, and engage with relevant parties to cease the attacks.
