Khan Younis:Gaza A six-year-old Palestinian girl, Tihani Mohammad Saeed Shalalfeh, has died after succumbing to wounds sustained from Israeli gunfire in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, located in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, the incident took place amidst ongoing violence in the region. In addition to the tragic incident involving Shalalfeh, Israeli forces reportedly shelled an area north of the al-Bureij refugee camp with a tank round, while Israeli military vehicles opened fire toward the eastern areas of the al-Maghazi refugee camp.
Further reports indicated that heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles was also observed in the al-Alam and al-Shakoush areas west of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
