Yatta: A Palestinian man was injured on Saturday after being assaulted by Israeli colonists in Tel Ma'in, near the town of Yatta, south of Hebron.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, anti-settlement activist Osama Makhameh reported that colonists from settlements built on Palestinian land east of Yatta stormed the archaeological site of Tel Ma'in in the village of Al-Karmel, east of Yatta. The colonists were heavily armed and attacked farmers and shepherds in the area.
Makhameh stated that the colonists severely beat farmer Muhammad Abdul Hamid Hamamdeh while he was harvesting his crops, resulting in bruises. The assault did not end there; colonists also forced farmers and shepherds to leave their land and subjected them to verbal abuse during the attack.
