Palestinian Envoy Updates Uruguay’s Foreign Minister on Recent Developments

New york: The Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, Minister Riyad Mansour, has provided an update to Uruguay's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mario Lubetkin, regarding the latest developments and conditions in Palestine.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Mansour extended congratulations to Lubetkin on behalf of the leadership and people of Palestine. This gesture was made in light of Uruguay's recent assumption of the presidency of the Group of 77 and China, a role transferred from Iraq during a ceremony at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

Lubetkin conveyed Uruguay's willingness to collaborate with and support Palestine, underlining the significance of sustained coordination between the two parties. He highlighted Palestine's prior experience in chairing the Group of 77 and China, emphasizing its substantial expertise in this domain. Both officials concurred on the necessity of maintaining ongoing communication.
