Gaza: Palestinian resident Rizq Abu Shahma died on Tuesday from wounds sustained in an Israeli strike west of Khan Younis, southern Gaza, the previous day.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis confirmed that Abu Shahma succumbed to injuries sustained in the strike. The incident occurred amidst a series of attacks that have escalated tensions in the region.
On Monday, eight Palestinians, including two children, were reported killed, with two others succumbing to their wounds after being shot by Israeli forces in different areas of the Gaza Strip. The strikes have resulted in multiple casualties, raising concerns about the ongoing violence.
Several others were injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting residential areas and civilian infrastructure. The continuous targeting of civilians and residential areas has drawn attention to the urgent need for de-escalation and dialogue to prevent further loss of life.
