RAMALLAH: The Palestinian Minister of Health, Majid Abu Ramadan, announced today the launch of a blood donation campaign for the people of Gaza, titled "Our Blood is One." In a press conference held today at the Central Blood Bank in Ramallah, Minister Abu Ramadan explained that the campaign will be active at all blood banks within the ministry's hospitals, as well as through a mobile blood bank vehicle. The campaign will run until next Thursday in collaboration with the Rahma Foundation. The minister highlighted that the blood bank teams of the Ministry of Health will collect, test, and store blood units, which will then be handed over to the Rahma Foundation. The foundation will be responsible for transporting the blood to hospitals and healthcare centers in Gaza to meet the needs of the injured and sick with various blood types.
