Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces on Monday evening stormed several towns and villages in the Ramallah, Jerusalem, and Qalqilya governorates, with no detentions reported.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, in Qalqilya governorate, the occupation forces stormed the village of Kafr Laqif, east of the city, hours after raiding the neighboring town of Azzoun. Local sources indicated that Israeli forces entered Kafr Laqif through its eastern entrance, deploying in several streets of the village without conducting any detentions or home raids.
Earlier in the evening, the occupation forces entered the town of Azzoun via its main northern entrance and positioned themselves in the Al-Safha area and the northern neighborhood. The forces withdrew approximately an hour later without making any arrests.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed the town of Kobar, north of Ramallah. They deployed in several streets and fired tear gas canisters, but no injuries or detentions were reported during this raid.
In a related development, the occupation forces also stormed the towns of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, and Hizma, northeast of the governorate. They were deployed across several streets and neighborhoods but did not carry out any detentions or home raids.
Towns and villages across the Qalqilya and Jerusalem governorates have been subjected to repeated incursions by Israeli occupation forces. These often come with home raids, searches, road closures, and restrictions on residents' movement.
