Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces demolished a residential structure today at the eastern entrance to the town of Al-Sawahra, southeast of Jerusalem. The Jerusalem Governorate stated in a brief statement that the structure belonged to Samer Al-Araj, without providing further details.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Governorate added that a number of colonists attacked the structure four days ago but withdrew after residents confronted them. It also noted that Israeli occupation forces assaulted the mayor of Al-Sawahra, Issa Jaafar, after raiding the area.
The same sources indicated that the occupation forces also bulldozed land belonging to Muhammad Arheil Al-Jahalin in the Al-Hadab area of Abu Dis, southeast of Jerusalem.
