Ramallah: For the second consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces continued to close the main entrance to the town of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah. Local sources reported that occupation soldiers closed the iron gate erected at the town's main entrance last night. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, thousands of residents use this gate daily, particularly those from nearby communities such as Abu Falah, Al-Mughayyir, Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya, and Turmus Ayya itself. The sources confirmed that the closure is hindering the movement of residents and their access to neighboring villages and communities, exacerbating their suffering amidst ongoing restrictions on movement and access to basic services.
