Munich: Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa met with German Vice Chancellor and Minister of Economy Robert Habeck on the sidelines of the 61st Munich Security Conference. The primary focus of their discussion was securing German and international support for the Palestinian Government's plans for emergency response, early recovery, and full-scale reconstruction in Gaza. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Prime Minister Mustafa reviewed the current situation in Palestine, emphasizing the political and diplomatic efforts in coordination with Arab countries and international partners to halt plans targeting forced displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, including Jerusalem. He stressed the necessity of maintaining a ceasefire, ending Israeli occupation aggression, and implementing UN Security Council Resolution 2735 and other relevant international resolutions to establish an independent Palestinian state. Mustafa underscored the priority of the Palestinian Government in Gaz a, which includes providing temporary shelter, restoring essential services, and reviving economic activity as a foundation for comprehensive reconstruction. He also informed Habeck about the escalating aggression by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, highlighting continued military incursions, infrastructure destruction, and forced displacement.
