MSF: Gaza’s Health Infrastructure Severely Damaged

Gaza: Aitor Zabalgogiazkoa, a Doctors Without Borders (MSF) official, said that the health infrastructure in the Gaza Strip has been severely damaged as a result of the ongoing Israeli genocide for two years. He added in a press statement that health workers, like other civilians, are suffering from the consequences of the genocide, saying, "We have lost 15 of our colleagues in two years, and this is terrible for us." According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Zabalgogiazkoa pointed out that the health infrastructure has been severely damaged, with hospitals in some areas completely out of service, while in other areas, hospitals are partially destroyed but people cannot access them. He added, "The hospitals that are still able to provide services have been forced to operate outside their compounds, and they are completely exhausted." Zabalgogiazko, the organization's emergency coordinator, noted that hospitals are facing significant difficulties in generating electricity and providing water , chlorine, and fuel, as well as in providing food to patients. He explained that medical personnel have been working under these conditions for two years and are completely exhausted, also suffering from Israeli attacks.
