Jerusalem:Kuwait Kuwait has expressed strong condemnation of the ongoing actions by Israeli forces and settlers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East Jerusalem.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry released a statement criticizing the continued escalation by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank and the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by settlers. The ministry described these actions as serious violations of international law and international humanitarian law.
Kuwait has called on the international community and the United Nations Security Council to fulfill their legal and moral responsibilities by taking necessary measures to halt these repeated violations and protect the Palestinian people.
The ministry also reiterated Kuwait's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the Palestinian people's legitimate rights, particularly their right to establish an independent state along the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
