Amman: Jordan's Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Safadi, announced that Jordan's diplomatic endeavors to end Israeli aggression in Gaza and stop unlawful Israeli activities in the West Bank are ongoing, as reported by Jordan's Petra news agency.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Minister Safadi, during a session at the Lower House of Parliament, highlighted Israel's breach of the exchange agreement. This agreement, facilitated through mediation by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, was intended to halt military aggression in Gaza. However, Israel resumed its operations contrary to the agreed terms.
Minister Safadi further elaborated that Israel has also stopped the delivery of humanitarian, medical, and food aid to Gaza from the beginning of this month. He underscored that these actions represent a blatant violation of the exchange agreement.
The agreement included the establishment of a joint operations center between Egypt and Qatar to monitor adherence to its provisions. Data from this center indicates that in the past 40 days, over 900 Israeli ceasefire violations have been documented.
