Israel’s Smotrich Orders Preparations for West Bank Annexation.

Jerusalem: Head of the Religious Zionism party and extremist Israeli Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, reaffirmed his determination to implement his plan to seize control of the West Bank and block the establishment of a Palestinian state, continuing his incitement against the Palestinian people. During the Religious Zionism party's weekly faction meeting in the Knesset, Smotrich stated that there is broad consensus now in both the coalition and opposition in the Knesset to oppose the establishment of a Palestinian state, which he said would pose a threat to the existence of Israel. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Smotrich also called 2025 the year of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria. He added that he has instructed the Settlement Division in the Ministry of Defense and the Civil Administration to begin professional and comprehensive work to prepare the necessary infrastructure for applying sovereignty.
